The ski area
Pal-Arinsal sits above La Massana, a quarter of an hour from Andorra la Vella. The Pal and Arinsal sectors are linked by cable car and together offer 63 km of slopes between 1,550 and 2,560 m: lots of blue, a fair share of red and a handful of blacks. Pal is the calm, wooded side with wide family runs; Arinsal is steeper and higher, with a snow park and Andorra’s liveliest après-ski.
The 2026/2027 season runs from 4 December 2026 to 4 April 2027. Ordino Arcalís, further up the valley, is included in multi-day passes and has the best snow and the finest freeride terrain in the country.
Who is Pal-Arinsal for?
This is an area for families and beginners. The kids’ zones are large, the ski schools speak English and the slopes are wide and forgiving. Advanced skiers combine it with Ordino Arcalís or take the Andorra Pass to explore Grandvalira. For après-ski stay in Arinsal; for peace, in Pal or La Massana.
Practical
Almost 1,200 km by road from Belgium; most visitors fly to Toulouse or Barcelona. Expect customs on entering Andorra. Day passes cost around 53 euros in high season, cheaper online. La Massana is a short hop from the tax-free shops of Andorra la Vella.
